Nike She Runs 5km.

I was glad that my first run was with them girls (especially Atiqah and Imah as they are my travel buddies now hehe). I never thought I was able to complete 5km without having something bad happen to me but I did. Perseverance is key and right after the run, which was last Saturday 11th, my right heel hurts and I've not ran since then. HAHA. 

Been eating like a piggy the past week and I've been feeling extremely guilty. Tons of unhealthy and not to forget, fattening food! Just check out my cheeks now man. Uurgh it'll forever be the death of me. Ps: Check out what I was holding on to after the run? Yes hotdog bun! And that's after I'm done with a can of 100Plus and a banana you know? The evening did not end just there..

Cold and rainy friday night at L'etoile Cafe.

 

I spent a good quiet night alone with a lovely pot of Nymph of the Nile and so-so Chicken Mushroom Pie with side salad last Friday at a place that was seemingly ulu but the minute you reached there, it’s  just.. Nice.  Actually, it was better than nice! J I headed for the outdoor dining because there’s no way I can stand the already crazy and cold day/week.  But I later moved indoors, at the cozy sofa corner (Level 1) when Zie and Zaimah came an hour later. Their Aglio Olio and Carbonara was delicious and I’d recommend that, really! Oh ya, the brownie, (ask them to warm it up for you) 2 thumbs up! :D

So we basically slacked the night away, doing what girls go best, heart to heart talks, irritate and amuse each other, tons of camwhoring but I am not putting them here because the photos are too dark and I was trying out my new Olloclip and no flashes allowed with that clipped on. You don’t want a photo with just black circle thingy don’t you?

Long story cut short, I see myself coming here again and again because L2 is damn cosy (okay la not only L2, L1 and the outdoor dining are decent) and they have interesting interior (major plus point)! Besides the fact that the food portion and price are reasonable, its 5 minutes walking distance from the MRT (Farrer Park). Perfect evening for EVERYONE. Be it with your girlfriends, alone, family or even your partner! xx

I loveee the prawn dumpling the most and it would have been better if I ate it first followed by the Seafood Fried Rice with XO Sauce! 1) I can't distinguished the XO sauce. 2) Despite the one chilli sign on the menu, I think it serves no purpose there because it's not spicy AT ALL. So a note to remember is to fill in under the 'remarks' and request for spicyX3. 4) The serving's pretty huge to me so I'd suggest sharing with your partner. Overall, it's not a bad fried rice la, just that.. It'll be perfect if there was cili padi in it! The egg tart was surprisingly good too fyi. Atiqah and Imah ordered the Portugese Chicken Baked Rice and since there are't any complains on their side, I assume it's okay la. Ain't a fan of cheesy stuffs so I didn't bother trying it. Hahaha. 

 It's weird yet amazing how Imah and I got on well with each other even w/o Atiqah around. Last Friday, I was talking to this girl for what like an hour plus with disruptions only coming from our laughter. Example, me getting lost in JCube and couldn't find the freaking the Ice Skating place. Secondly, we waited for shuttle bus to IMM only to sit down there like gundus for a good 15mins and realized the pick-up point isn't there anymore. HAHAHA. And then we walkedddd to IMM instead, still talking about work mostly and only open up to relationship stuffs after dinner. There was just so much to share and it was all at a comfortable pace. Only thing stopping was perhaps we were drained out from work. All that carried on till midnight and I'm not at all complaining! xx

Truth be told, I turn to food and work for this emptiness in my heart.

I wished Zhao Jie wasn't working and then it would have been perfect. Oh wait, it'll be complete if Chong Wah and Teck Hwee joined but we aren't as close as we were before. Oh god I miss my Poly days already. I miss eating at W4? Was that it? I forgot the names of the canteens we patronize regularly. I miss walking back together under the crazy hot sun. Haha. Wow 3 years have passed, to be exact, it's coming to 4. I've known this 3 crazy idiots eversince my 1st year Sem 2, W45P. Yeap that was our class. Cheers to many more years of friendship. Cheers to many more dinner/supper, even if it's gonna be once a year. Hahaha.

Zie's 22nd @ Moonlight Suite, mOOn's Hotel.

Okay I swear this post is gonna be image heavy but I think 3/4 of the photos that I'm gonna upload, will be worth it. Haha. Anyway, allow me to side track abit.. It's been a while since I last had a ladies night like this. I admit I used to party twice to thrice a week a few years back but now, the feel and need to party seemed to slowly die down. I don't even know why. Okay I do know why but I just don't feel like sharing. Everyone's allowed to have their own reason on anything and everything right? :)

Alright here it goes, we helped Zie out on her 22nd birthday which falls exactly on the 1st September, that is Saturday if you'd ask. I wasn't there for her past few birthdays so I thought why not helped out as much as I could. Guests were invited to come at 6 but we were there earlier, at around 3-4pm.

 A few Instags to get started..

My #ootd before I left home > Zaimah's #ootd while waiting for Zie to pick us up and fyi, I still am in love with her cute pastel pink jumpsuit. I always wished I can wear one of those but again, I'm vertically challenged. :P > Managed to snap a photo while in the cab and throughout the journey, the taxi uncle kept saying how lucky I am. Hehh :) > Gold and pink helium ballons stuffed at the backseat of the car! It was damn kecoh please. Hahaha thank god the hotel was just around the corner!

The place was beyond gorgeous, it was perfect if you don't want your sleeping area to get messed up or dirtied because the living room and bedroom was separated into two. We used the bedroom to keep our belongings and as a "make-up" area. Hehe. I also love the fact that the whole balcony area belonged to nobody else but us. I think it's great for guys (if there's any males who reads my blog. :P) too because you know... Most guys smoke and therefore, it's a good place for them to chill + fresh air.

What's a party without food and drinks right? Of course everything's halal here. Zie: "eh ni alcohol halal dari Brunei tau!" Hahaha. The fried bee hoon and chicken wings was kindly brought by one of Zie's friend. Good, simple and nice!

 But that's not all..

So shiok pleaseee. I would have had more of those if I wasn't so busy. On second thoughts, I felt like I'm back to my Party Hosting job! From welcoming the guests (Even though I hardly know them. Ps: Sometimes I wonder how I can be so easy going. Haha.), taking lotsa photos, preparing and arranging the food and drinks, gathering everybody for cake cutting and then cutting the cake + distributing them. No complains about being busy ++ because... I love doing so! :D

 Me being no one else but myself, forever like to selit and ahem, menyebok. ✌

 Really really sad for most of the photos of the birthday girl and the cake, turned out to be very blur. :(

Towards the night, we decided to bring our feet for a dip in the outdoor jacuzzi (HAHAHA) which I think is good enough for 4-6 people and of course, it depends on how comfortable you are with the people next to you la. It can accommodate more if you don't mind squeezing abit. If not, 5 people would be just nice. I think.. Haha.

OH GOD WE HAVE SO MUCH FUN DURING OUR "PERASAN-LEBIH" PHOTOSHOOT. HAHA.

TOLD CHA. HEHEHEHEHE. 

Anyway, Zaimah and I are both single and.. Available! So guys.. ^^ HAHAHA kk I'm just kidding hor. Aku ni cakap je pandai. Tapi nanti bile laki ajak kluar, a thousand and one reasons aku bagi. Lol. Not that I don't like them or not into dating. I'm just scared (period). And I got no feel for relationship. You get what I mean? No? It's okay. :P
