So much for "travelling on a hiatus".

Dad asked if anyone wants to follow him and mom to Melaka for a wedding and I thought, hey why not balik kampung? Also, I've been wanting to go for a mini trip with my parents sans the sisters hahahaha. Getting stucked at home with them for a long weekend.. I cannot do it anymore manz. I'll turn into a monster and one of my resolution is to be patient and I don't wanna burst it very early of the year. :P

For the record, I can't stand girls who:

•  Wake up past 10am.

• Takes forever to help with the house chore. FYI, I'm the kinda person that would be done doing the laundry, vacuumed the whole house, wipe down the window grills, sanitized my vanity area and wash all my makeup brushes, fold all my clothes and on some weekends, I'll help mom to cook and everything will be completed before it strikes noon. To also note that I do this kinda cleaning every Saturday morning. I loveeeeeeee cleaning as it gives me a sense of satisfaction. But I get really irritated when no one helps to clean orrr will do all the cleaning up at after lunch and dilly dally with their time. Nak mintak kene spray air!

 Nonetheless, I'm really thankful that my second sister, Shahidah, have been really helpful in keeping the room and house neat and tidy. Praying hard that she will cultivate all this sincerely and continue doing so when I'm no longer around. My parents, are not getting any younger yo! :(

Anyway, we are hoping that there will still be available bus tickets during the CNY period despite the news that I've been reading. I can't wait to purchase a VVIP coach for the Melaka tip + we've agreed on a Peranakan theme boutique hotel for our 2 nights there! We planned to head to Larkin this Saturday noon and may god bless us with zero queue for whatsoever. It'll also be a great time for me to stock up on my ZA two way powder (uses this to set my liquid foundie), wet wipes (yes please!) and get myself a hair trim! x

My family, girlfriends and other half makes me whole.

 Brought Atiqah out for her birthday lunch at PS Cafe @ Palais Renaissance and was pretty disapointed with my Prawn Aglio Olio because there was barely any spice to it. It lacks the garlic and cili padi like how I like and expected it to. In fact, it was oily. Bummer ain't it? And yes, I know I should have gotten the truffle fries but we had zero interest for that at that point of time. Hahaha.

 I decided to treat the parents to Tiffany's Cafe at Furama just so that I can spend some time with them before Dad did his knee operation and again, the food was nowhere our expectations. I should have brought them to any of the Turkish restaurants at Arab Street lor. Seriously, I/we would be more puas hati. The food wasn't thatttt bad la but the interior could have been improved. I'm shocked as to how the management can allow such tables and chairs still be utilized. :/

Day out with the cousins, was one hell of a crazy yet relaxing! It rained in the late morning to early afternoon and we almost cancelled it for stay at home movie marathon but thank god for some who insist hahahaha. The weather when we reached West Coast Park was perfect. Cool and breezy + the fact that every family had a task to do/bring/cook, made the whole pot luck picnic great! We left for home (our home) to shower, did our Marghrib prayers before purchasing Red Riding Hood from MioTV and continued snacking till it was time for the kiddos to head home. L O V E.

I don't know if it's appropriate to label myself as an OCD person as my work desk is not exactly arranged neatly where my documents and folders are stacked accordingly but I try to clear and keep it mess free, daily. Unless if I end work really late and I know I have tons to do the following day, I will not bother because at 8.30am, work begins full on. BUT my room, has got to be clean and tidy at ALL times. I cannot stand girls with freaking messy rooms. How the hell do you live in a room where your bed is undone, your clothes are lying on the floor, dirty mirrors and rooms where you don't freaking open up the windows for ventilation?! Gross.

Often you will see me blabbering on twitter on how mad I am with my second sister with her not helping out or rather, only helps out when I asked her to. I mean.. Shouldn't all these be done voluntarily already? I get so tired and pissed when constant reminders have to fall on death ears and all she does is watch her One Direction videos on youtube. Like what the effing hell right? To add to that, unfair when they want to borrow my clothes and expects a Yes, all the time + instantaneously. That comes to a point where I pray really hard that Zaki or whoever my lawful husband to be, will be a neat freak or rather have some form of initiative to help me out with keeping things clean. Because guys, I cannot be doing this, alone, for the rest of my life. I might go crazy hahahahaha.

La famila ft indian food ftw!

I'm not gonna lie that I've been not been veryyyy happy at home as I'm annoyed at some things but I'm not gonna bother explaining in depth. Some things are really, better left unsaid. Anywayyyy, a mini gift for dad on #happyfathersday and I've got no one to blame but myself as I was the one who got him the Verdon set a few years back. I love the smell and since dad said his face feels cleaner with it, good. We had a family brunch last Saturday after our ngaji lesson in the morning and yeap, that's pretty much it. Another bonding time for us to speak out and share nonsense which we haven't had the time to do so. Till then, xx.

Eid al-Adha.

It was the time of the month for me therefore I couldn't perform the Hari Raya Haji prayers. Such a waste but oh wells there isn't much I can do except to help with preparing of food in the morning before dolling up like a doll. Why doll? Because doll has proper make-up on and that was what I did. Hahaha.

I've decided on a purple songket top that belongs to my aunt and that belongs to her for a good 24 odd years. She had it on during my mom's engagement. A sentimental piece indeed and I loveeee such stuffs. 

Photos with the sisters because we are vain like that and I kinda.. Forced them to take multiple shots with me hahaha but obviously that wasn't a problem to any of them. It's normal for such to happen! :P

Before heading out to my uncle's place where my grandma (maternal) is and to meet the rest of my crazy lovely cousins that I'll never get tired or bored of, I decide to change into one of mom's dress! Love how it fits perfectly and makes my new Melissa Wedges pop in comparison of color. It did leave a burn on the left side of my feet but I'm determined to wear it till it seasons. I've worn 4 out of 8 pairs of shoe I got from the Pedder Sale and I'm looking forward to wear the rest!

Bought the Chanel Chance Eau Tendre last year after I came back from my birthday Phuket trip and I'm left with one final refill and it's good to go! I'm eyeing on the same same but different Chanel Chance. It's not the pink (current one you're seeing as above) nor the green one but the original bottle that's in gold. "Round like the wheel of fortune, CHANCE transforms into an irresistible purse spray!" Most convenient ever.

1968 BABY.

We celebrated Mom's birthday a day earlier which was on Sunday because everyone will have school and work the next day and usually that will end very late. Especially mine. Haiz working full time and studying part time can sometime kill me but oh wells, let's not talk about that now.

Split cabs and decided to camwhore for a while with the sisters.

Our second visit at this Tandoori Restaurant and the food there NEVER dissapoint us. 

  

I really realy really think that my mom and grandma looks exceptionally beautiful here. 

 Everyone enjoyed the food very much. But the only mistake we made was that we ordered a lil too much meat for the lunch. Hehe.

Next up, featuring my chiobu sisters! WHY SO PRETTY AH?!

My one and only beloved parents. If you haven't noticed, they are my everything and there's no second best when it comes to them. Both are equally important to me and I wished I could be better for them in time to come though idk what else to improve la. I think I'm too good of a daughter and eldest sister already. HAHA.

 My mom's a housewife and she cooks very good food almost everyday. The only time she doesn't cook is when she's pure lazy (which is hardly) or when she's sick (then someone on the family will cook and it's usually my second sister.) My dad put the importance of eating together and I can't thank them enough for those actions because "those who eats together stays together" and that's not just a quote. It's proven to have a happy and blessed family like mine. How's yours? xx

Since I have the time and time is very much precious, here's a few more things for you guys to read/see!

It was pure luck that I got the free ticket and what's crazy was that I didn't know or rather, didn't care for the fact that they are only issuing 1 ticket each. I would have gone alone and have one more to strike off the bucket list (to watch a movie alone) but, I had great company with me. That's one of my colleague at L5 and she's really cool to be with. Like an elder sister to me! :)

As usual, when you're with me.. I'll be so tak tau malu and get you to help me click a few #ootd shots. Hahaha. And let me inform you that I look nothing like that It's just the whole photo edits that made it slightly pleasing to the eyes. 1) I barely had any make-up. 2) I just anyhow pair up my 4 year old dress and GUESS hoodie. Bless my soul that some people thing I look good. :P

I've been researching for the bag that's good for both school and work.. Then this came while I was browsing through Reebonz.com! You have no idea how fast my heart was pumping before I clicked on 'Confirm Order' and I was ranting to Ai Ai about it. Before I knew it and less than 15 mins, purchase was made! 

 I have ZERO regrets on it. ZERO. I'm madly in love, head over heels +++ with the colour, texture and the overall look of it. This, was my biggest splurge of the year (and it's only the start of the year. Hahaha) we'll see what happens in December.

 My angry bird cranky boy came last night and he always bo-layan me. But guess what? I don't care! Hahaha I will still chase him around the house, carry him till he stare at me + giving me the weird look aka frowning hahaha and at times, I do make him cry when I suffocate him with kisses! HAHA. 

He's too cute la and I cannot tahan but to do all those. Sorry people. 

I cannot wait to give my body a good scrub and spam the delicious body butter! It smells so good I'm very sure I'm lickable. HAHA. Aside from that, I hope the Airbrush FX Face Primer would do my face some justice. I've got stupid huge pores and I need some saving.

As days goes by, I'm getting lazier to update this space. I see no point because mostly can be found in either my Twitter and Instagram. In fact, I'm trying to work out the codes to have my Instags at the top of the blog so there will always be updated infos +++ But again, who's here? Zzz.

Short dinner with Aini and she got me that as a belated 22nd gift and I'm loving it!

Spent a bomb in Sephora and Royce for Chistmas gifts for the colleagues!

Met the STC babes on 2 separate occasions for dinner and 2012 was memorable because we met twice and not our usual once a year reunion dinner! Hahaha. 

Impromptu lunch at Tong Seng for Fried Fish Soup and later at Starbucks for my Cocoa Cappuccino!

I may have went to bed with a smile on my face, especially with the new long sleeve pyjamas from La Senza that's btw not only are they leopard prints but they are also freaking softttt, I woke up feeling extremely lonely. But I ain't gonna dwell on that because I'm sick and tired of feeling that way.
