FIRST DAY MENSES

I hate hate hate when the time of the month comes to visit me. It hurts so badly without fail. Constant fainting spells, both my uterus wall and legs cramp up like nobody's business and the worst part is my back aches like mad. I want to cry and sleep and cry and sleep some more.

No amount of painkillers help anymore. :(

Lav lav lav youuu.

I'm just feeling a little nostalgic and thought hey why not take a trip down memory lane + try to kill two birds with one stones and have some parts of my love life documented here before erm.. I forget!

Weirdly right after this, all you guys are gonna see are photos taken when we went to East Coast Park many months ago for our grilled wings + lemon sugar cane juice (obviously not in photos because we we were too hungry!!!) cycling date and seriously, we should have been in PE attire because it was so hot?! Like we were sweating and disgusting but oh wells, you know when people are in love, nothing's all that bad. In fact, nothing's bad and I've been loving this relationship to the max! Hehehehe.

Of course nothing's complete till I get some #OOTD shots in but what you see here is my inner mak nenek versions.

Basically how Zaki looks like when:
1) Him: "Sayang da lawa laaa. Cepat laaa."
2) Me: "Sayang do the BJ Kadir pose!" (AND HE LAYANKAN! HAHAHA)

And we took the opportunity to do the infamous shot of.. Yeah you know.. And actually had tons of fun doing so. I was amazed at how cooperative my Sayang was. He genuinely was into it and kept asking me to pose. HAHAHAHA I on the other hand, carik chan la. We did his version too but it all ended way too serious so.. I shall not post them here! Hahahhaha.

Kenape kau handsome?

I think the above u g l y photos are up and taken by my Sayang simply because after one point of time, all I wanted to do was edit photos and have it uploaded on Instagram! Thus, it probably was his idea of revenge. I think la. For now I'm just assuming hahahaha. But I'm totally fine coz I think the fact that he have seen me sans foundation, is a big deal already (for me at least!) and erm my unwashed hair etc. + I'm always pretty in his eyes HAHAHAHA so, there's really no worries on my side anymore. Though without a doubt, I ain't slacking on my makeup and skincare regime! I mean, no lady should ever slack on keeping yourself beautiful.

If you want better, go get better.

At 25 and I think I really need to put my shit together. I feel like I've been spending way more than I should have and that my savings are not increasing by how much I envisioned it to be. I pretty much told myself that right after my Vietnam trip is over (yes I just came back from Phuket with family heheheh), I'll go on a travel hiatus till 2017 June. In sha allah I'll be able to graduate by then! It's always been one of my "goals" before I do the next 2 crazy things in life. 1) Solo Trip. 2) Get married.

I would love to finally put on braces in 2016 and that before I leave for my solo trip, I'll have perfect straight teeth that it gonna be as white as snow white. Hahahaha. Just gotta pray hard that I will remove my wisdom tooth with ease, I have 4 to remove fyi, and that I will be okay after a week. I can't be bothered to remove 2 at a time and then suffer for one more time. :(

In a nut shell, here's what my life plan is gonna be like:
  1. To have my braces on and hope to have it removed in 18 mths = June 2017.
  2. To pass all my modules and graduate with a Bachelor in 18 months = June 2017
  3. To go crazy and do one hell of a good solo trip upon graduation = November 2017
  4. To do a CO2 laser treatment to remove my acne scars = March 2018
  5. To khatam quraan omg please before I get married = June 2018
  6. To in sha allah have a beautiful solemnization with my Sayang = August 2018
  7. To own a place called mine that is clean and lovely in all aspect = December 2019
  8. To have major renovations done for the home = December 2020
  9. To have mini Shiqs and Zaki in sha allah hahahahaha so scary so much blood = December 2020.
  10. To own a car or a black Birkin before I turn 35.
Of course, I can only sketch and work towards all that la. But at the end of the day, God will decide and I'm praying hard that God and I will have some kinda telepathy and that we'll be in the same path. Hahahaha.  The year have yet to end but I hope that when 2016 comes, I will be more discipline. Read somewhere that what I need is 3-6 months in order to have that kinda commitment and it'll be easier to move on from then on. For 2016, all I have to do is concentrate on building my savings more before I start mini investing. Haiya idk la, I've just been reading on articles this whole year and I thought I should try it out when I'm young. We shall see...

And yes, life does not end when I get the #10. I have pretty much budgeted on how much we need to put aside for the major renovations, if we should proceed with loans and if yes how much, the amount to set monthly for our kids primary and secondary education, the budget for our holidays and many more. Won't be covering all these in one post but I will when I feel like it. :P

Till then lovelies, plan for your future. x

"As the ocean is never full of water, so is the heart never full of love." #projectMaldives (Part 3)

Enjoy the visuals ladies, and gentlemen...

Captured by one of the dive master from another group.

One of those days where we decide to explore the island, Maafushi, by foot and was done in less than 45mins? They had these kinda seats EVERYWHERE so i just HAD to. HAHA.

When Atiqah decides to "abandon" me and go over to the other side of the Island. Therefore it's me-time at one of the most lavish villa aka Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Maldives, looking at my sayang's videos and our photos on repeat while I get myself a lovely tan. Psstt meet my only companion for that 3-4 hours of soaking in Vitamin D.

Like I've mentioned before, I never thought I would visit Maldives before I tie the knot but I guess everything happens for a reason and that god probably have a better place in mind for my honeymoon. Hahaha but rest assured I will visit this romantic place with my sayang for one of our vacations. In sha allah la hor. :)

Such a simple dessert you would say but we had this every single night at Crystal Sands. It's like a routine. Banana fritters with vanilla ice cream drizzled with sweet fresh honey. Total omggg so nice it makes my mouth water right about now!!

Our last breakfast at Sun Tan Beach Hotel and finally something Maldivian that I could get.
A slight twist to the chapatti. Here in Maafushi, you eat it with tuna flakes, coconut and idk what greens all combined together. Not too bad as finally there was some spices used!

You would have guessed that I've ran out of words to describe the last leg of my journey in Maldives but hey, to come this far (blogging) and to spend less than $1400 ($1200 if I didn't buy my Chanel Chance Hairspray and nonsense at the airport when we were on the back! Hahaha) for this whole 6 days trip to such alluring islands and gorgeous views at every angle, it's like an #achievementunlocked. Now I totally understand when one describe how it feels like to travel because when you have a "tight" budget to work with. A reasonable one that is, followed by lots of luck I must add. Hehhehe.

To be uploaded are:
  • Stand up paddling at such a good price on our first try.
  • My first time on a jet ski and giving it a go aka went crazy with the speed for no charge.
  • Dophins dolphins dolphinsss!!!
Of course the day where I got to see purple-pink fishes like those in Sea Aquarium, a few sea cucumber, plenty baby sharks (1 came extremely near and I freaked out x100 + almost fall off my paddle board!), beautiful doubleeee rainbow, perfect sunset when one of the instructors was busy paddling and catching waves for me hahaha, I didn't have my gopro strapped. Yupp perhaps it just wasn't meant to be.

 Till then, #projectM.

Singapore to Maldives and on a budget? POSSIBLE! #projectMaldives (part 2)

Okayyy hiii I'm back again and I aim to round up on my Maldives trip! Aside from the fact that I was crazy annoyed with work, I thought why not take a break and to hell with whatever's happening? Hahaha just kidding. I've done all that I have to do and currently waiting for latest updates which btw will always come in at the very last minute. -_- Pfft. Nevermind that, moving on....

The modern all white interior won us over and it was really our luck that we got upgraded to the biggest room in Crystal Sands. You had no idea how crazy the two of us went, or rather, perhaps just me la hahahaha. Pretty much screamed in delight and if you'd like a walk through of our room, feel free to watch it here and here! We highly highly recommend this place and if you're on your honeymoon, it will still be as perfect!!!

The lobby was all cleaned and cosy, wifi was great and that's me and Atiqah looking all burnt. HAHA.

The highlight of the night!!! And nopeeeee I didn't just post for the photo with them two. I "caught" it for like around 10seconds? and passed on to the guys to help bring it up. It's either I get the fish up the boat or I will just jatuh masok air. For real guys, 12kg of idk what fish. PLUS a special shout out to my father and boyfriend who's sooooo into fishing!!! Not bad for a first timer right? And can you imagine, all you need is that string and no fancy fishing equipment was required?! I felt like a lady boss already. HAHAHA.

Anywayyyy it may have been the biggest fish caught for that night and I impressed the local boys there hehehe but damn the meat was tough as hell and super tak sedap. I barely even eat what the other hotel's chef cooked. Bottom line, bigger does not mean it'll be better and size definitely didn't matter. :P

The following morning we head for the water activities such as snorkeling and lunch at the beautiful sand bank. Sadly, these are the only two photos I have as of now as I took a lot more videos and they are all still in my goprohero4. Been procrastinating to have it uploaded but I shall share all the videos taken in my next post (which I don't know whennn I'll do so hahaha).

WE SAW MANYMANYMANY DOLPHINS IN THE WILD AKA DEEP BLUE OCEAN AND IT WILL BE SOMETHING THAT I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET.

Early in the morning I called to check and request if Crystal Sands staff could serve us breakfast in our room and if they could do something with the chilli sauce to mark "Happy Birthday" on one of the plates. They could do both, so one down! 20 mins later and they were still not up yet and I got a little anxious as I wanted to have everything prepared in the room before Atiqah comes in. Ps: She was in the balcony because the wifi reception there's the bomb! #achievementunlocked

So, the kanchiong me wrap my shawl to cover myself before going a floor down only to bump into the waiter who's carrying a tray with sedap breakfast! And I loveee the card that I got for Atiqah. If you don't already know, I'm a sucker for such chic cards and hand made letters. Therefore, I always make sure that I have such for all my best girls along with my composition written in it! Hahaha. :)

Also, I must add we stayed in Crystal Sands for 2 nights and we wanted to extend for the rest of the nights we were in Maafushi but because we booked Sun Tan Beach Hotel for the Sea View Room. Kindly note that we booked a normal room earlier with Crystal Sands only to get an upgrade which we are really thankful for. Anywayyy, both accommodations was just 1 minute away. Okay I lied, it was just 20 seconds away or even less. Gong gong us booked our accommodation just right beside each other and thought hey why not try something different!

Even at Sun Tan Beach Hotel, the service was great. I mean.. Look at the effort that was put in from them rightt from the start of the candle light dinner by the beach? 5* I would assure you! Of course, all this been planned way before hand la. All I had to do be efficient and send out a few emails here and there and tadahhhh everything's settled!!! I will never forget the beautiful set up and how crazy the wind could be, the candles around us, the hearttt shape HAHAHAA and the fact that the both of us were wishing that our partner was there instead.. Hahahahahaa.

Also, it was the first dinner where we had a decent bowl of tom yum soup, grilled seafood mix platter and then only to have the waiter said, "Let me know when you're done with you meal, I'll bring out the cake. You have a cake? A birthday cake?" I think I gave him thatttt lookkk but he doesnt understand!!! Surely, another memorable birthday celebration for the both of us. Hahahaaha.

Don't you wish every morning.. Your view is as good as that? I do, every single day.
